Order Lock
Also known as: trading lockout, session lock
A one-click trading-lockout that disables order entry until the next session — designed to prevent revenge trades after a triggering event.
Order Lock is a behavioral guardrail. After a trade that triggers emotion — a stop hit, a target cut, a breakeven exit you regret — clicking Order Lock adds friction to supported local trading controls until the next session boundary and helps preserve your protected plan.
It's a discipline aid, not a hard kill switch. Broker apps, hotkeys, and other add-ons can sometimes route around it. The documentation says so explicitly. The point isn't impenetrability — it's friction. Make the bad decision harder to execute and many traders don't make it.
